People Operations Specialist (Maternity Cover)
Join the People & Culture Team at Neurons – Where Innovation Meets Heart
At Neurons, we’re not just innovating, we’re revolutionizing how the world understands consumer behavior. By combining AI and neuroscience, we help leading global brands predict responses in seconds. It’s fast, it’s smart, and it’s changing marketing as we know it.
But behind the tech is something even more powerful: people. A team that genuinely cares for each other, and for those who make this transformation possible.
We’re now looking for a People Operations Specialist (maternity cover) to become the operational heartbeat of our People & Culture team. We’re moving quickly to bring someone on board to ensure continuity and keep our P&C operations running seamlessly during this period.
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you’ll ensure smooth, meaningful processes across the employee lifecycle - from the moment a candidate hits “apply” to their final day at Neurons. You’ll streamline systems, elevate experiences, and champion best practices that make Neurons a place where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.
This is your chance to join a high-impact team that mixes sharpness with humor, supports each other relentlessly, and takes pride in creating a workplace where culture isn’t just talked about, it’s lived. If you thrive on meaningful work, strong team spirit, and a forward-thinking mission, this could be your next adventure!
Our HQ is in Høje Taastrup (right by the station), with a smaller hub in Austin, Texas. All in all, you’ll be supporting a team of 85 fantastic employees.
What you’ll be doing
People Operations
- Keep P&C policies, workflows, and systems running like clockwork - and keep improving them.
- Coordinate payroll processes with Finance and help optimize platforms.
- Manage PTO, parental/sick leave reimbursements, and employee benefits.
- Own and optimize our People tools (HiBob, Teamtailor, Slack) with an eye on accuracy and improvement.
- Be the go-to support for employees and managers.
- Drive onboarding/offboarding, relocations, and warrant schemes.
- Lead or support People-focused projects that elevate the employee experience.
Employee Relations & Performance
- Support managers and employees on employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Assist with performance cycles: reviews, feedback, and data analysis.
Compliance & Documentation
- Stay up to speed on labor laws and ensure compliance.
- Manage contracts, warrants, and documentation.
- Keep stakeholders in the loop on legal changes and best practices.
Change Management
- Support organizational changes and guide managers and employees through transitions.
- Help communicate and coordinate change initiatives.
Data & Insights
- Dive into People and recruitment metrics to spot trends and opportunities.
- Deliver reporting on key P&C KPIs.
AI in P&C
- Be curious and tech-minded.
- Develop and champion AI tools and policies that modernize People practices.
Interteam Support
We’re big on having each other’s backs. During absences, you’ll also jump in on things like:
- Supporting recruitment flows and communication with candidates/managers.
- Lending a hand with payroll inputs, pension setup, contracts, and visa tracking.
What we’re looking for
- A strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle - from hiring to offboarding.
- Experienced in using HRIS systems and tools, particularly HiBob and Teamtailor.
- Knowledge of payroll coordination, benefits, and Danish labor law.
- Excellent communication skills: you can coach managers and handle sensitive conversations with tact.
- Fluent English (Danish is a plus as you’ll be dealing with DK law).
- Process-driven mindset with a knack for improving workflows and leading HR projects.
- Data-savvy: comfortable analyzing P&C data for decision-making.
- Collaborative yet independent: you know when to partner and when to drive.
- High integrity and discretion: you’ll handle confidential information daily.
