Product Manager - API & Integrations
Bring AI and neuroscience to the world.
At Neurons, we combine AI and neuroscience to predict how people respond to creative content. Therefore, customers use us to make smarter marketing decisions with less guesswork by analyzing and optimizing their advertisement. We use predictive AI (neural networks), large language models (LLMs) and diffusion models for this. But we do not only want our direct customers to improve their marketing campaigns; we want to bring neuroscience to the world.
So we’re focused on something simple: Getting Neurons’ data into other systems that marketers (and agents) use every day. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to own our API & Integrations space and help scale API usage in a smart, sustainable way.
At Neurons, we work in Shape-up combined with our own experiences for building software in the best way.
The core of the role
This is first of all a product management role, where you work to understand our customers' problems and build great value for them through our API and Integrations. This primary role is to help marketers and automatic agents consume our data to make better advertising decisions, also by providing the data in systems where they work. But you also have a second set of customers; the developers who consume the API.
Your main KPI is clear: Grow API adoption and increase API usage.
Not by adding random endpoints; but by building the right integrations, communicating and evangelizing how AI and Neuroscience can automatically help improving advertising, improving developer experience, building the right functionality and making sure our API is reliable, secure, and genuinely useful.
Product Manager with Technical Knowledge
The overall responsibility will be to determine which products and features we should build to maximize API usage and revenue, working closely with customers throughout the process.
Some Of the Areas You'll Work In
Setting Direction
You’ll define:
Who our APIs are for (with our commercial partners)
What problems they solve
How we measure success
How API strategy fits into the broader product and technical roadmap
You’ll set focus and avoid distraction.
Talking to Customers and Finding Solutions
You’ll work with:
Marketers trying to get data into their workflows
Understand how they best use our data and product
Help build business cases with customers, showing how predictive AI helps them
Developers building integrations
Partners
You’ll turn messy input into structured product decisions.
You’ll decide what we build to maximize API value and usage.
Also: Developer Experience (Because Docs Are the UI)
As part of the job is also to get the data and functionality implemented in other systems than our own platform, you will also own:
Documentation
SDKs and examples
Onboarding flows
Sandbox environments
Versioning and changelogs
Keeping the Platform Solid (e.g. rate limits, authentication, compatibility etc.)
...And More
We are still not that big, so you’ll sometimes work on broader platform initiatives or cross-platform/API efforts to help ensure the entire company succeeds in bringing neuroscience to the world.
What Success Looks Like
Marketers see our data inside their daily tools
API usage grows.
More integrations go live.
Developers onboard faster.
The API is stable, trusted, and scalable.
What You Bring
At least 2 years of Product Management experience
High agency and drive (see below)
A technical background (you understand how APIs actually work)
Comfort working with developers and technical stakeholders
A growth mindset: you think in adoption and usage, not just features
The ability to push back when needed (politely, but firmly)
How You’ll Fit In
You’re high agency. You don’t wait for perfect conditions.
You’re self-driven. In 6 months, you will tell us what to do.
You’re curious. You like understanding things deeply.
And you’re comfortable challenging strongly opinionated people; with data and logic.
